Innovis Health Lifts Restrictions for Hospital Visitors

November 23, 2009, 10:24 am

Effective immediately, Innovis Health has lifted its visitor restrictions at its hospital campus based at 3000 32nd Avenue South in Fargo.

Innovis Health continues to request that individuals with flu-like symptoms or any other illnesses to please refrain from visiting the hospital campus. We also strongly encourage visitors to take extra precaution when visiting patients by thoroughly washing his/her hands when entering and leaving the building, and by requesting a mask (if necessary) for both patient and visitor protection.

According to Nancy Korth, Vice-President of Patient Care, “ The prevalence of flu symptoms has slowed down. We will continue to monitor our inpatients, those seeking care for flu-like symptoms and any community reports, and if necessary, we will revisit the previous restrictions at that time.”
